To continue my tradition of linking to EW retrospectives on bad (but hot) actresses, I give you:
Jessica Alba through the years
With Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer coming out this friday, at least it’s topical.
I find Alba to be more consistently hot, but a worse actress than Keira Knightley.
As one of the sole fans of the first F4 movie, even I have to admit that Alba kinda brought down the cast. They could have picked much better actresses for Sue Storm.
And she doesn’t even have a nice accent. /sigh
Keri Russell would have been an interesting choice there. Probably less likely to draw a certain mouth-breathing demographic, so i’m sure the choice was financial. Good luck with this movie – i’ve a feeling you’ll need it.
It certainly would have been a different type of role for Keri Russell, but I think it would have tainted her low profile charm.
You may be surprised. It may be better than the first. At least the special effects are bound to be — WETA did them this time.
jessica alba is undeniably (i cnat spell) one of the hottest woman alive, but as you say she is a PISS POOR actress. she relys on people staring at her chest and ass and hope they pay attention to that instead of her acting.
